Almond Monkey Bread

A short post today.

I love how this monkey bread turned out. The outside is just so crunchy and nice. Not overly sweet.

For the recipe, I used caterpillar bread bread recipe. And I coated the outside part with sugar mixture. The ingredients are very simple. Caster sugar and ground almond, 1 : 1. And melted butter.

When the dough is ready, take a small amount of the dough, and make a ball. The size doesn’t matter, so you don’t have to measure the weight.

Dip the dough into the melted butter and dip it in the sugar almond mixture. And place it in your baking pan. Don’t forget to spray your baking pan with cooking spray / butter first.

After all the dough is done, you need to rest it again for 30 minutes then bake in 175 C.

Perfect for afternoon / evening snack with cold milk or hot tea 🙂

  1. Nice images…. That bread looks delicious, and you’ve made me fancy drinking milk through an old fashioned straw!! have you ever ‘French toast’-ed this? Might be interesting…

    • Thank you. It’s really nice when its still warm. I love freshly baked breads 🙂
Might be a bit tricky to make it into french toast, but that’s a good idea. I’ll be sure to try it next time I make this bread

A nice comment will make my day ^^
